Cyborg V.1 Flight Stick Reviews
8 of 8 people found the following review helpful Easily the best budget joystick available, January 11, 2012 By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Cyborg V.1 Flight Stick (Personal Computers) I ordered this joystick for the sole purpose of flying jets in Battlefield 3. This is important to note, because anyone who has used a joystick with BF3 will know that the joystick support for that game is absolutely horrible. Most joysticks, even MUCH more expensive ones, have at least one or two quirks such as the throttle not working or even as serious as the game not recognizing you have a joystick plugged in at all.
The Saitek Cyborg V.1 joystick works absolutely flawlessly in Battlefield 3. Every button was able to be bound, and the throttle control even works. I had zero issues whatsoever in using this joystick with BF3. I literally plugged it in - and it just worked.
As far as the joystick itself, I'm not exactly a joystick connoisseur...however I can confidently say that the feel and performance of it is exactly what I expected. No frills, it just works, and it has the features I wanted (Z-Axis). I wouldn't say that it feels cheap, although it is... Read more

If you notice I look around or look up when I stutter, its just a habit of mine. Also this review was meant to put on YouTube, so thats why I say the link is in the description below.
This is a great joystick and I'd recommend it to anybody, to the hardcore gamer or someone just casually messing around with it. Its great for the price and will blow all other joysticks in its price range out of the water. Its very lightweight, as I said in the video, it doesn't even weigh 1 pound! This is a pro for me because I don't really need a heavy joystick around. The throttle lever doesn't move as fast as my old lever did, which helps you get accurate engine power.
Another reviewer said that the cord is too short, which isn't true. I can pull it half the way across my room, which is about 15 feet in width. My only problems with this joystick is how easy it is to press down the pinky button, as I accidentally press it when I'm flying in combat, or even... Read more
5 of 5 people found the following review helpful Not bad ..., October 26, 2009 Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Cyborg V.1 Flight Stick (Personal Computers) I have several flight sticks, Thrustmaster, Logitech Attack, et al. The Cyborg is a pretty decent stick for the price. I have 3 complaints: 1) the throttle doesn't work an a lot of my flight sim games (I have to use the keyboard). It does work on MS Flight Sim X but not on Il-2 1946, for example. 2) It is a very light stick and I find myself (and the stick) falling off the edge of my desk when I'm trying to shake a Bf 109E off my six. The twist rudder works well, no dead zone to speak of, nice, firm motions of the stick itself. (3) It takes a little getting used to the buttons being on top of the stick (not sure I'm sold on that!). All and all, not a bad stick!
