Very well built, extra keysets make for versatility., November 17, 2010 By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: SteelSeries Shift Gaming Keyboard (Black) (Personal Computers) First thing I experienced with this keyboard was feeling how heavy and sturdy it was- for us rigorous typers, it's a chore to have to move our keyboards back after our strokes push it away. The interchangeable keysets made this purchase very worthwhile for me(a Starcraft/WoW player). My only gripe is no back-lights on the keys, but hey- the soft glow of multiple monitors is all the light us gamers need, right?

I bought this keyboard for Father's day and he's in love with it. If we weren't married I think he would marry it ha. With all the functions and space it works perfect for gaming. It's bigger then we thought it would be but he doesn't mind. He has absolutely no complaints about it. I would recommend this computer to all gamers!
couldn't get to work, June 19, 2012 By stephenfontenot (westlake, louisiana, US) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: SteelSeries Shift Gaming Keyboard (Black) (Personal Computers) i have several game controllers and couldn't figure out why the keyboard wouldnt install like the others. found out that 1-9 and 0 keys r limited to a sertan amount of keypad drivers can be used together i had to get rid of my razor naga and wolfking gaming pad to make it work. wasnt satisfied with the product. before i figured what the problem was i called their suport and they couldn't figure it out either, so they gave me a replacement keyboard and a headset for the 2nd keyboard. the new keyboard installed fine but i had problems with finding the old drivers for 1 of my keyboards and did a complete install on my OS and reinstalled the keyboards and ruled out what was the problem
